Our condolences to the Davis family and the Dallas, Texas Fire Department. FireFighter Vincent Davis, 42, a 10 year veteran of the Dallas Fire Department died Monday, February 11, 2002. Vincent died from injuries sustained when a wall collapsed on him and another firefighter at a two story 6 alarm apartment blaze. Both firefighters were rushed to Methodist Medical Center where Vincent died later that evening. The second firefighter was treated and released.

Our brother Vincent leaves behind a wife and five children, ages 2-14. A wake will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas on Friday, February 15, 2002 from 12PM-5PM. A memorial funeral with full honors will be held at Concord Baptist Church in Dallas on Saturday, February 15 at 10AM. The burial will be in Alton, Illinois at the Oakwood Cemetery.
