Our condolences to the Stewart family and the Ault-Pierce Fire
Protection District of Colorado. FireFighter Shane Stewart, 33,
a 3 year veteran of the Ault-Pierce Fire Protection District,
died Saturday February 23, 2008. Shane was responding to a
medical call in Ault from the Pierce Fire Station by himself in
a tanker with a full load of water, when the vehicle left the
roadway on Weld County Road 33 and overturned. Shane was ejected
and pronounced at the scene.
Our brother Shane leaves behind his wife and two children.
A funeral service for Shane will be held on Thursday February 28,
2008 10AM at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley. A
