Our condolences to the Stott family and the Terre Haute Fire Department of Indiana. Captain Ralph Stott, 50, a 24 year veteran of
the Terre Haute Fire Department died Monday September 30, 2002. He was killed after a large explosion at an auto body shop fire
caused debris and a building facade to collapse on several firefighters including himself. Two other firefighters were treated and
released.
A visitation will be held for Ralph on Wednesday October 2, 2002 4-8PM at the North Mattox-Wood Funeral Home and on Thursday 9-11AM. A funeral
service will follow the visitation on Thursday October 3, 2002 11AM. A memorial fund has been established and donations can be made to:
