Our condolences to the Jones family and the Cambria Volunteer Fire
Department of Wisconsin. FireFighter Ryan Jones, 20, a member of the
Cambria Volunteer Fire Department and the Cambria Community Ambulance
Service since he graduated high school, died Tuesday January 15, 2008.
Ryan was killed when when his car crossed into opposing traffic and
collided with two semi-trucks on Highway 33 north of the Cambria.
Ryan attended Cambria-Friesland High School where he was the Trailways
Conference Small School Division player of the year in 2004 and was
selected as an honorable mention all-state defensive player as a
lineman by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association in that same year.
Our brother Ryan leaves behind his parents, Donald and Colleen. A
visitation for Ryan will be held on Sunday January 20, 2008 1-5PM
at First Presbyterian Church of Cambria. A funeral for Ryan will be
held on Monday January 21, 2008 11AM at First Presbyterian Church of
Cambria, followed by a burial in the Cambria Cemetery.
