Our condolences to the Eusden family and the Aston-Beechwood
Volunteer Fire Company of Aston, Pennsylvania. Fire Chief
Raymond Eusden, 57, a 41 year life member of the Aston-Beechwood
Fire Company, died Tuesday May 20, 2008. Raymond was in the
firehouse working on fire apparatus when he became ill, feeling
pain and numbness in one of his arms. He then communicated to
another member in the station that he was having difficulty
speaking, slurring his words. He was transported to Crozer
Chester Medical Center and was admitted to the hospital. While
recovering in the hospital Raymond went into cardiac arrest
and was unable to be revived.
A visitation for Raymond will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2008
6-9PM at Aston-Beechwood Volunteer Fire Company. A burial will
follow on Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Aston.
