It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Laura Pompei,
mother of Retired Waterbury FireFighter Thomas Pompei. A funeral will
be held for Laura today Saturday January 17, 2004 10AM at Our Lady
of Mount Carmel Church followed by a burial in All Saints Cemetery.

The January meeting of the Waterbury FireFighters Local 1339
is scheduled for Wednesday January 7, 2004 1900 hours at
Headquarters. Please note day and date change. All members
are encouraged to make every effort to attend.

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Louis Rocco,
father of Retired Waterbury FireFighter Joe Rocco. Calling hours for
Louis will be held today Sunday January 4, 2004 4-7PM at Maiorano
Funeral Home on Willow Street. A funeral with military honors will
be held for Louis on Monday January 5, 2004 9:30AM at Our Lady
of Mount Carmel Church followed by a burial in Mount Olivet
Cemetery in Watertown.
