Our condolences to the Chandler family and the Grant County Fire District #5, Moses Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Jeremy Chandler, 27, a volunteer firefighter, and son of State Representative Gary Chandler, died June 18, 2001. He had driven a tanker to a 20 acre brush fire north of Moses Lake, where he collapsed and died from unknown causes.
