Our condolences to the Lyons family and the Kennewick Fire
Department of Washington. FireFighter Eric Lyons, 38, a
veteran of the Kennewick Fire Deparment, died Thursday July
5, 2007. Eric had responded to a brush fire earlier during his
shift. Shortly after midnight he developed a medical emergency.
He was transported to Kennewick General and passed away shortly
after.
Eric had also served as a firefighter in Spokane and East
Wenatchee.
Our brother Eric is survived by his parents and a brother in
California. A memorial service for Eric will be held on Thursday
July 12, 2007 1PM at Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.
