Our condolences to the Paterson family and the Kimball Township
Fire Department of Michigan. FireFighter Donald Paterson, 65, a
35 year veteran of the Kimball Township Fire Department, died
Tuesday January 1, 2008. Donald had responded to a wires down
call during a winter storm. He didn't make the call but stayed
behind to perform station duties. Later that evening, after
returning home, he suffered chest pains. He was transported to
Port Huron Hospital where died shortly after during surgery.
Our brother Donald leaves behind his wife Patricia, his son Donald,
and his daughter Lorraine. A visitation for Donald will be held on
Thursday January 3, 2008 6-9PM and Friday January 4, 2008 2-4PM and
6-9PM at Marysville Funeral Home in Marysville. A funeral for Donald
will be held on Saturday January 5, 2008 11AM at First Baptist Church
of Marysville followed by a burial in Caswell Cemetery.
